Good evening, friends!
Happy cold Thursday! We’ve survived a whole week into 2015 and aside from freezing temps, it’s been a great year so far! Right before 2014 ended, I got to meet up with one of our 2013 couples, Abby and CJ, for our long awaited after session! I’ve been playing a lot with the light and trying some new processing lately and I am basically in love with this session. Abby and CJ are a wonderful couple and I am so glad I got to spend some more time with them! It’s been over a year since their wedding but they still looked flawless in their wedding day attire. How perfect is that fur for Abby?! Which definitely helped fight the cold!
There are so many great things about an after session. There’s no worries about possibly messing up your dress (we don’t trash it, but it’s okay if it gets a little dirty). There’s also unlimited possibilities for location instead of being limited to what the venue offers and there’s no worry about trying to stay on a schedule. After sessions are always some of my favorites because they’re so laid back (and so fun to get dressed up again!). Abby was another bride that chose her wedding date around my schedule, which is such a special honor to me. It worked out perfectly too and I am glad we’ve become friends over the past year and a half! Can’t wait to blog her actual wedding day too (it’s in the queue for next month!). Excited to see Abby again next week for some updated headshots as well. She and CJ are both incredibly talented musicians!
Enjoy these sunny winter photos from the Armbruster’s after session!
