Happy Monday!

It’s a new week and we’re kicking it off right with one of my favorite bridal sessions, the now Mrs. Emily Jones! Her wedding will be blogged by the end of the week as well!

The the threat of rain was very near on the day of our session (it was sprinkling at the end!) but we made it through. The overcast skies created the most amazing diffused light and along with her bright spirit, made Emily glow. Her gorgeous Justin Alexander gown from Something Blue Shoppe is just to die for! A big thank you to Rawwbeauty for helping Emily to look flawless, and to Bushel and Peck for creating her incredible bouquet! So glad we chose Avondale Park for the perfect setting as well. Everything came together to create these gorgeous images and I loved spending time with this sweet gal!

Emily, can’t wait to blog your wedding very soon! Much love!

Happy Sunday, friends!

I hope you all enjoyed a beautiful weekend! I didn’t get to the last blog-a-thon post on Friday, so we’ll count this one for it! We spent the day with Liz and Joseph for their beautiful winter wedding in Birmingham yesterday! Every detail was incredibly stunning and I can’t wait to share the wedding photos. For now, I am excited to share from Liz’s bridal session! These photos have been in hiding for over a month while we waited for the wedding day to arrive so everyone else could see Liz in her beautiful Oleg Cassini gown. We spent the afternoon with her wonderful planner Becky from Becky’s Brides at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Hothouse Design Studio created a trial bouquet for the shoot and her hair and makeup team did a trial for her as well (Jackie with Rawwbeauty and Jessica Lazarus). This is something I highly recommend for all bridal sessions! It’s great to get an idea of how you’ll look from head to toe for the wedding day and near the same time so the photos can flow together.

Liz, thank you for being a beautiful bride! I loved spending your wedding day with you yesterday and hope you guys enjoy St. Lucia! Much love!

Hi friends!
I am so thrilled to present our new website to you. Prior to this site, we had the same flash site for almost five years. The change is so refreshing and I am in LOVE with our new site! I hope you are enjoying it as well!

We’ve got portfolio galleries with photos you haven’t seen before, new blog posts, brand new wedding collections, a whole new look, and a huge giveaway coming soon! Take a look around while you’re here!

I cannot say enough thanks to Alex Lucas from Al Weddings who helped revamp our site from start to finish. It was a hot mess before and now it is so shiny and beautiful. I also want to say a very big thank you to Jacki Gil at Salt+Paperie for my new logo design! She is such an amazing artist (brides, be sure to check out her invitation work – so much goodness!) and I am so glad that she was able to create something beautiful for us.

And one more big thanks to everyone who was so patient on waiting for our site to go live! I know it was down for a while, so I hope this was worth it!

Here’s some pretty from a recent styled shoot we had, coming soon to the blog! Thanks for reading!
